Perfectly gloomy Norwegian goth/post-punk, anchored by a punchy rhythm section and driven by chiming guitar lines and morose vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 16, 2021

This is a marvellous discovery. Among the many Goth revival acts, Hapax stand out in their sobre, somber way to re-define the well-known vintage aesthetics. It's devoid of any dull coldness, or of any languishing melancholy that I think often flaw many new songs of the same spirit. Hapax rather favour an assertive, glorious, at times poignant songwriting that is vividly enhanced by an excellent dark male voice. Bertrand Marchal
